5:27pm: Judges 7 Friday
Judges 8 Saturday, Judges 9 Sunday, Judges 10 Monday, and Judges 11 Tuesday. Sorry everyone, I have really been slacking on this this week. Post away, I will and get back to it tomorrow.

12:56pm: Judges chapter 6 (wednesday)
hey I am going to post for thursday as well as we are going to k-falls toninght, pray for safety and good weather if you get the chance.

10:23pm: Judges Chapter 5 (Tuesday)
What can I say, chapter 5 is a long song. it does provide some interesting background for sure. I really like the last line of the chapter. I am feeling really up beat and posative this evening, not sure why, but I hope all is going well for all of you out there, let me know if you are having struggles I can help with or pray for. remember tomorrow night 6:45 @ the church.

10:25pm: Judges Chapter 4 (monday)
The story of Deborah. Go girl power. It is interesting to me that even though we see God's wrath poured out on many, we also see His mercy as people repent, He will over and over again save them from there oppression, wether it is in this case rulers, or in ours, sin.

7:19am: Judges Chapter 3 (Sunday)
Shamgar did not get very much mentioned about him in the Bible, its interesting how some get more mentioned, yet somehow this one verse is important enough that God has made sure that it has been passed down to us.

9:30am: Judges Chapter 2 (Saturday)
Verse 17 struck me again, I know it is kind of a repetative theme for me, but for those of you who have not heard it before, The new testament refers to us as the bride of Christ. Any time we put something ahead of God in our livs, it is like we are cheating on God. We are prostituting ourselves. This chapter does a good job of showing what happens when we do this.

10:07pm: Judges chapter 1 (Friday)
Wow it has been quite the day for us today as we are making decisions that will impact our financial future with our business, its really scarry, so pray for us for wisdom and God's guidence, I want to be like the tribe of judah that took the land not like the others that just moved in with the enemy, but when you do that the stakes are high up front. I am praying for you all.

1:26am: Proverbs 26-30
I will not be at Bible study tonight as I am at a meeting in Portland. Josh will be leading, please take the time to review our reading, worship God, and pray together. As I announced two weeks ago, we need to make a system of accountability so that we are encouraged by each other to grow, however with more time and prayer that I have put into it I would like all of you to discuss what would work well for everyone in the group and come up with a system that holds everyone accountable. Please pray about it and write down what you guys come up with for a system. Also choose a book of the Bible to begin reading on Friday, and post it on here so I know what to read as well. Please also come up with some more questions or topics you would like to cover on Thurday nights. and last but not least enjoy desert and don't forget to thank Mrs Mortinson for it. Jennifer and I will be keping you in our prayer during the time of Bible study and are looking forward to getting back together with you guys next Thursday.

10:15pm: Proverbs 25 (Friday)
I think verse 9 is great advice, when someone decides to speak badly of another because they feel wronged by that person, they need to insted go and speak with that individual. It amazes me how often I hear about things like this happening. It saddens me, because if it happens once it can really destroy how credible God appears through that person.

Sorry that I have gotten behind this week, life has been very busy. I am just about caught up on my reading though. How is everyone else doing? Eric, thank you for your recent comments on here. Anything in this chapter strike home for anyone?

10:14pm: Proverbs 23 (tuesday)
It amazes me how much truth is in each of these chapters. I prayed for each person in our group individually today. I prayed about this chapter that God would allow us each to absorb it and take the lessons from it and apply them to our lives.

9:31pm: Proverbs 22 (Monday)
first, let me know if there are any things you guys want to study or questions that we can answer as we have finished the video series. I find verse one to be so true. It allows you to look yourself in the mirrior in the morning, and it is both much harder to gain and much easier to lose than silver or gold.

I like verse 9!!! LOL I am glad I don't live with a contentious woman.

josh, haven't heard from you lately. have you been keeping up on the reading? could just be my fault as I have gotten behind in updating the journal entries, but just wanted to check.

10:02pm: Proverbs Chapter 18 (Wednesday)
18:17 This makes me think of Evolution in the public school system. A college educated, certified teacher can not come in and express the other side of the arguement, therefore the only side of the story that is told seems right. I think that this is also a good warning for me that when I go to make a decision about something that I need to take the time to listen to advisors on both sides of the arguement, not just make a snap decision. Another thing to look at here is the need of ours to not just accept something, but to compare it to what we find in the Bible and see if it stacks up or if the Bible refutes it.
